A Voyage to The Famous Architectural Wonders of Spain
Many people acknowledge Spain to be one of the best places to spend your vacation in, and with good reason too; Spain is the hometown of the world’s oldest, riches, and most vibrant cultures that anybody can really take pleasure from. Spain is one of the biggest European countries, and also one with very diverse cultural influences. Spain has a wide variety of architectural masterpieces that are famous all over the world for the vision with which they were crafted. For example, a famous Canadian architect named Frank Gehry designed the iconic Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao which is touted as one of the best post-structuralist designs internationally. Based on the opinion of the authorities of the arts, the Guggenheim Museum is one of the finest examples of postmodernist architecture which may look verydiverse from conventional buildings but is functional and aesthetically pleasing.
One other famous structure or group of structures is the Parc Guell which was commissioned by an aristocrat named Eusebi Guell who wanted a space for all the aristocrats of Barcelona to stroll and spend time in. Parc Guell has stone and tile artwork integrated into the architecture of the park and the buildings within it. Parc Guell presents imposing stone and tile works as well as stone architectural structures that were made to complement the beauty of nature instead of overpower it.
For people who love the outdoors, there are many activities worth looking into, and different places you can enjoy doing them in. The Prado Museum was partly built by Juan de Villanueva who was one of the favorite architects of Carlos III. All the while that the Prado Museum was being constructed, Carlos III had a vision for Madrid, that it would be the cradle of development and urbanization for Spain; this came true to a certain level because the Museum is now considered one of the biggest with the most extensive art collection among the Museums worldwide.
